Wife says this will be my last gun for

This is a tough call, for me. I'm generally a big fan of stainless, and those two posted above are SWEEEET!!
But, in this case, I'm still kinda leaning towards the old-school look, with the blued steel and wood.
Partially, it's the fake grips on the stainless gun. If you could get real ivory, that'd be different, but the whole faux-ivory thing just rankles me. I'd prefer real wood to fake ivory.

Another way to have the look of ivory is to have grips made of American Holly. They're also way less expensive than ivory. These were made for me by Private's Custom Grips and I love the way they look and fit on my Ruger Flattop .44 Special. The best of both worlds.

I think they are both great choices. It sounds like the best option for the OP is to purchase the stainless with wood grips. See how they feel before looking for replacements.

As far as all this "last gun" business....

Pistols are easy to get into the safe. It's the long guns that are a problem.

Stay within your budget.

Funny responses :). The problem is, my wife picks the guns up from the FFL since I work 50 miles away, she has her concealed as do I, so no wait. So technically, she owns all the guns but one

Losing the guns and the dog would be devastating, even if I get to keep the truck and fishing kayak.

I'm going for the Bisley. Eventually she will figure she needs a different type of gun for some new purse she has, so I figure in another year or so I can get it back to, well this will be your last gun for a while.

I don't think a Bisley grip is necessary for a .357 magnum unless you just prefer it. A .357 of that weight is not going to have outrageous recoil.

Wow! No denying it, that sho 'nuff is a looker !!! :)

Just put these $28 "bonded ivory" grip panels on my new SBH .44. They feel like the real thing, and are kinda heavy, unlike cheap plastic.

Budget fairness thing OilyPablo. I just bought a Super Redhawk 44 mag about 9 months ago. She never says a thing about my constant ordering of boolits, primers and gunpowder, or even the cigars.

Don't ask, Don't tell. Works for me. Many years ago when I was about to buy my second handgun I got the lecture about how we need to discus major purchases. After that I just bought any gun I wanted and never mentioned it. ;)
If it were me I'd get the stainless.

Got the 357 Stainless Bisley with Ivory Grips, should arrive at my FFL soon and I will go pick it up :).

I think the real problem is, now I have a few more handguns than the wife :). She likes pistols, I prefer revolvers.

In a few years it'll be, ok this will be your last gun for a while :).

My wife use to say silly stuff like I can't buy anymore guns. But I pay the bills and my money is my money and I will spend it like I want to.

She saw me buy a Mak 90 AK for $250 and a week later sell it for $750. She has been quiet about me buying guns ever since. She bought in to the Beanie Baby craze and and all the BB she thought would go crazy in price can now be bought for pennies on the dollar. I hate that for her. I wish she could get rid of the damn things.

So we go to the range, and afterwards my wife says, I saw this .22 derringer I would like, oh BTW: your new gun should be at the FFL next week. Just remember, that's the last big gun purchase this year.

For a while = this year :D

As soon as I get the gun I will post a picture.
