A co-worker just showed me a gun he inherited. It's a side-by-side with double hammers and two triggers. The barrels are 30" long, one is 18mm in diameter and the other is rifled and has a 10mm inside diameter.

Marks include "Wilmont Gun Co." on both sides of receiver and "Daminated Steel" on rib between barrels.

Any info. on this gun would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

It sounds like an old hardware gun, but an unusual one if one barrel is rifled. Doing a search I came up with the name and said it was probably one of dozens of different manyfacturers distibuted possibly by Crescent-made and Folsom-imported shotguns.

The "Daminated Steel" I'm assuming is damascus steel which is unsafe to fire modern shells through.

Sorry, that's all I could come up with. You may try http://www.gunshop.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi. They really know their old double guns.
