Does anyone know how to take apart the bolt on a Winchester 67a .22? You know, that gun that you all owned that was made WAY before I was born.

I was given one by my father-in-law and it was in OK shape but the bolt really could come apart for a good cleaning. Any help?

edit:
I did do quite a bit of searching and found nothing.

Why?

There is only one crosspin, but in general the bolt is wide open.

Keep it lubed, there is nothing complicated in there,

Third generation, going on fourth.

That's it? I just got it yesterday and hadn't had a chance to look at it in detail. I also wanted to make sure there wasn't any tricks that I needed to know.

Why? Cause it was in storage for ever and things don't move smoothly and I can see gunk and stuff deep in there that I cant blast out.

I took one apart once, and it was a pain in the you know what, to put back together. :scrutiny:
I won't do it again, just blast them out with CLP or gunscrubber or something.
Just my opinion...

I got it apart pretty easily, once I took a look at it. I had heard they were a pain but this was a snap. Got is all cleaned and put back together.
