Winchester Model 61, 22Mag

My Step-Dad had one, that he bought years ago at Gambles. His eyesight is failing, so he decided to sell it. The bluing is nice, but the walnut stock has some scratches, from being handled by dumba**kids(me & my step-brother). It never was shot much, and hasn't be fired in close to 20 years.

He finally sold it, to his younger brother.

Before I let the cat out, Tell me what you think it should be worth.

My guess would be about $1600.00+ being a 22 Mag. When my FIL passed, my BIL took a Win. 61 in 22 mag that looked like it had just been pulled out of the box. I ended up with a pre 64 Mdl 70 in 300 H&H.

One mint in the box with hang tags would bring 12-1500. One that shoots and looks like crap will bring 5 or 6, so I'd guess yours is in the 8 to 1K range.
