Wondering about investing in two nice Colt's?

Here's the deal? I have the chance to purchase an 1926 vintage Colt Army Special(6-inch).38 special revolver that is in 98% overall condition-but, without the gun box or anything else with it for $375. I also can buy an 1969 vintage Colt Officer's Model Match .22 caliber revolver(With original box but nothing else!)for $600. Should I be talked out of this deal or would this really be a good deal afterall?

So, you're essentially looking at $1000. If the revolvers are in good mechanical condition and are not re-finished, I'd say you are looking at an excellent price. Go for it.

No, neither of the above two Colt's have been refinished! They are original in every way and are in perfect mechanical condition! No rust either!
