I paid $250 to have my RIA blued, I just can't bring myself to carry that one, it's too pretty. I have a RIA Compact for the dirty work, it's Parked' and is developing some nice holster wear "character".

That depends, will you be carrying it around in a tub of salt water?

On a serious note, as long as the gun is cleaned and lubed regularly, you shouldn't have any issues with rust.

Never had a blued gun rust from carry, and almost every single gun I own is blued.
