I added a tiger striped stock to a Field Grade WRA Garand I bought a while back. What do you think ???

It looks like the finish is a little rough. If you want to smooth it out a little and really make those stripes look amazing you should take some 0000 steel wool and buff the crap out of it. It will make it look a little bit dull but that is okay. Once you have smoothed all the roughness out of it, you can polish it with any manner of polishing methods. I actually prefer to just use some hand rubbed BLO. Then, if you really want it to be slick and flashy some turtle wax will really make it stand out.
