As mentioned, in atleast three threads so far  , I am in need of a low powered scope for my CETME, since my eyes aren't what they used to be. This is my main range gun, my SHTF gun, and I might even take it hunting before too long (deer, feral hogs, coyote).

I had initially thought about the Weaver K4 4x, since there have been some great reviews, but then started to think about Kalinka. But since they seem to have terrible customer service (and didn't have a working email address on their site), I counted them out.

So I was back to the Weaver, which I know is a good scope. But since I might want to use this rifle for practical rifle matches, or 3-gun competition (maybe, low priority), something that goes down to 1x or 2x would be better.

So after even more research, much of it on THR and TFL, I have found Mueller optics, which has also gotten really good reviews on THR, TFL, Rimfire central, plus several of the other forums. Infact, I have yet to read something negative about them.

I am thinking about their 2-7x32.

So does anyone have anything negative to say about Mueller, before I spend my hard earned money?

I recently purchased the 2X7 Mueller and mounted it on my eary vintage Colt SP1. I had to buy an extended ARMS carry handle mount (the mount and Leupold rings cost as much as the scope) to get the scope far enough foward to have a comfortable semi cheekweld but the height does not bother me. I have only been out to the range one time but had no problems and so far it seems to be holding zero well. I really like the Mueller Circle/Dot reticle and can imagine it would be good for hunting. It is really a little long for a carry handle application but its something I can live with.
