Mark another CZ PCR fan here. My one complaint is that the trigger release is too soft--meaning the hammer just releases, instead of a nice little 'click'. I just don't know how I'll ever manage.
Also a S&W 6906 fan (well, liked my 469, but the 6906 has a better grip and a much nicer trigger).
Allllmost got a Bersa Ultra Compact, too. Points well, comfy if a little thick, and the trigger's amazing for that type of gun. One heck of a deal in that thing.
love my CZ P-01, fits me like a glove. I am concerned though. It's begun to have issues, failures to extract. I just swapped out the extractor spring for a Wolff but haven't have a chance to shoot it yet. My fingers are crossed because I love this gun and want to keep it.
Smith & Wesson Model 6906: Nothing is more important than reliability when counting on a pistol for self-defense. And "third generation" Smiths are as reliable as the sun rising in the east every morning.
What's your favorite compact 9mm all metal pistol?
I don't mean sub-compact, or littler. I mean compact. And please verify if you have owned or shot this pistol in the past or present.
Why?
Besides the fact that snubbies are just too freak'n cool...
It shoots good, it looks good, it has been 100% reliable so far, works with or without moonclips, recoil is rather mild since it's all steel, and it's not too big for easy concealment.
I've owned it for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. It's accurate, slim, reliable, attractive, fits my hand perfectly and it was inexpensive. I was never a fan of IWB carry until I got my hands on this gun, now it's the only way I carry. This gun has become my favorite ccw to date, I never leave home without it.
