Your Reliable 9mm Tack Driver?

Sig P226 Navy. More than combat accurate at 50 yards, never skipped a beat, great single action trigger.

The Glock 17L is another.

The HK P7 shown may be my best tackdriver, but the other two are real close, especially the Kahr T9. Sometimes I shoot it better than the P7. I can't believe how well the little 2 1/2" P2000sk barrel delivers tight, consistent groups. That gun always makes me smile. :D

My 1994 Browning Hi Power Silver Chrome with the gold "pimp" trigger like Bigmike's. Closely followed by a CZ-75B and P7M8.

CZ-75 P-01, it has earned the "go-to gun" designation of my collection, which used to belong to my CZ-75 Compact. Mike

I used to think that my Glock 17 was a tack-driver. :scrutiny: Then, I bought a Browning High Power. :eek: <<Pause>> Then, I bought a G34. :what: <<Jaw hits the floor>>

Every single 9mm I own is more accurate than I am. None of the guns I own are are weak link.

:neener:

G19
G34

It's a toss up as they are both tied for first place. Many rounds, no failures. More accurate that me.

Oddly enough, I have never owned a 9mm that I considered a "tack driver." I have owned 45ACP's that I could make 1 big ragged hole without a second thought, but never a 9mm. My Sig P228 is pretty accurate, more so than my P239 and certainly than my PM9, but it doesn't hold a candle to my P220 Carry Equinox, or any number of 1911's I've owned. I recently traded a HK P2000 which was maybe ever so marginally worse than the P228 but close.

My luck must suck with 9mm's. I need to rectify that since 45 is so expensive nowadays!

tack drivin 9

Well, I guess it would have to be the only 9mm I own. My Ruger p89.

It's MOS @ 25 yards.

MOS = Minute of Squirrel

My Glock 19 is probably my best tack driver that I currently own, although my USPc 9 is a close 2nd.

The best tack driver I had I sold a while back: a full size, steel, Baby Eagle in 9mm. Sweet shooter. Surprisingly, the little XD9sc I had was really accurate too!!
