ALABAMA

Score: 15 out of 100 points

State Ranking: 19 out of 50 states

Could be better.

Man, that brady site is twisted! is it me or do they twist the facts to create illusions of how they want to portray "reality"???

thats propaganda. bad.

communist I tell ya. communist style propaganda.

I dont like it.

(Florida) "At least we have Castle doctrine, where in the words of the Brady campaign, "permitting him or her to assume the role of police officer, prosecutor, judge, and executioner."

Yup......which, aside from the Police Officer part, is exactly what the CRIMINALS have been doing for years!

Missouri is 44th out of 50? We've come a long way, Baby! I'm so Proud!

PJ

Lousiana - 4 out of 100

T-44th

YAY!

THe list of stuff they like in a state is nauseating.

That's one ranking I would be happpy with our usual least or next to last ranking.

6th. Friggin' SIXTH.

Please, someone PM me a practical way to get New York down to like... thirty-sixth.

Sad to say that means no plans like "make NYC part of England."

Indiana - Number 32 out of 50!!! Tied with the Sunshine State and Big Sky Country with 8 points. This one list you want to be low on. California must be awful if it ranks so much higher than our neighbor Illinois. I guess Illinois ranks as low as it does because, at some point, some how, some way, somebody must be able to buy a gun and some ammunition and somebody must be able, on some occasions actually shoot one now and again...legally.

"Back Home Again in Indiana" never sounded so good.

Too bad they got a bunch of the CA stuff wrong...I see atleast 5 things that they are wrong on and a few that are "it depends"

Its nice to know that they are getting the facts out the the people.

Florida
8/100 points
T-32.

Its because of the stupid waiting period we have. Yeah because in passion crimes, people really take a timeout to go buy a gun. At least we have Castle doctrine, where in the words of the Brady campaign, "permitting him or her to assume the role of police officer, prosecutor, judge, and executioner."

Another Florida here....

Don't forget about our "Stand your ground" law removing the duty to retreat. They like to call that the "Dirty Harry" law. We're also known as the Gunshine state.... :D

Reading through their stuff... it's insanity. It truly is.

I lived in Sc -they use tax dollars to build public shooting ranges on the national sumpter forest-Covered no less.
I live in stinking NY state -
Im moving to KY reason see above ..

Nevada--11, and T-23 of 50. What's odd is when you roll the cursor over Nevada, a message appears that says 'break the triangle of death'!

Check here for more information on the "triangle of death". Nearly every sentence there is an outright lie. In fact, much of it can be classified as libel. Someone should sue the Brady Campaign.

NJ is #2, oh that's bad on just so many levels :uhoh:
We 'scored' 63 points according to the Brady Bunch...
Well at least there's California at #1...talk about rationalizing :banghead:

Technically if you use Brady's methods, DC would have ranked #1 pre-Heller... I wrote about it a while back...see the article at NJCSD here: http://www.njcsd.org/content/view/724/9/

Michigan is tied for 11th
22/100 'points'
And man, when I read some of that crap on that site it makes me want to slap the living..........never mind. It's really hard to believe that any Americans can be so brainless. But then I think about Detroit, Chicago, DC..............

That site just made me feel sick. The poster especially is sickening. They both promote such fear and hatred. I want to print out that poster just to have a target at the range but don't want to waste the ink on such filth.

This is stupid.

Here are some laws that this idiotic website states to be true for Pennsylvania.

CHILD-SAFETY LOCKS
Must locking devices be sold with guns? Yes

State law requires every gun to be sold with a child-safety lock to make it easier for gun owners to lock up their weapons. But there are no standards for the child-safety locks to ensure that they are of sufficient quality to work well. The law does NOT require gun owners to actually use the safety locks to secure their weapons - the law only says they must be sold with guns. Also see: Safety Standards and Child Access Prevention.

No, this is a lie, no gun i have ever bought had a trigger lock on it. I have bought from FFL dealers as well. WRONG

JUVENILE SALE
Is it illegal to sell handguns to anyone under 21 years of age? No

State law does not restrict selling handguns to juveniles under the age of 21 by unlicensed sellers. Under federal law, only federally licensed dealers are prohibited from selling or delivering handguns or ammunition for handguns to any person under the age of 21. A strong state law is needed to stop unlicensed persons from selling handguns to those under the age of 21.

So why is it that i can't get one? This is so stupid its beyond me.

If I were satan, i would reserve one of the deepest pits of hell for people like this. They think they are helping the problem, yet they are only fueling it. The sad result is most likely the lives of thousands.

NJ is only 2nd! We was robbed! I demand a recount! :cuss:

And NJ gets 63 out of 100. Only 63? Good Lord, that's scary. Does anyone know what it would take to get 100 out of 100?
