If you can get it for under $900.00,(and get spare mags,as well as a reasonable supply of ammo) go for the AK103-it s an actual ussian rifle built on a Russian receiver WITH a chrome barrel and the AK74 angle (90degree) gas block. It will(should !) have the optics mounting base on the left side of the receiver.
IF money is tight ( join me at the Poor Folks Bar&Grill, trash can fireunder the bridge),AND the Yugo build is either an "other than Century build" , or a ( rare)PROPERLY put together Century build;and you don't mind underfolders-Go for the CIA build.
Do you have the opportuity to examine them both ,try them for "fit",check for defects? Are they both NIB?Best way to know is to be able to put both eyes and hands on the subject.
Bear in mind this:Yugo=No Chrome Barrel-you buy,you clean GOOD after you shoot(just likeany other piece you care about)
Russian ?My preference, although there ARE some well built Yugos out there;you just have to check them out and NOT "panic buy".
The AK103 IS the"most modern" as far as the evolution of former Communist 7.62x39 AK's( best PERIOD,and IMPOSSIBLE to find would be one of th ecurrently produced Finns;and NO I do not recall the model designation).
By all accountsthough, the AK103 is a good choice-IF you can spend the money.
