Yugo SKS Pierced Primers

I have a Yguo sks with one of the spring loaded firing pins with the spring removed. I started shooting some Prvi Partizan Ammo out of it when I noticed that most of the primers had been pierced. I only fired ten rounds and about seven had been pierced. I reloaded the brass I could find using winchester primers, none of the primers were pierced. Has anyone had this problem with PPU ammo before? Now I might have to pull the bullets on my remaining PPU ammo.:banghead:

Could you take a close up photo of the pierced primers?

Were the Prvi primers crimped or staked?

You may get some help here. They call it popped primers. Some of your problems may be soft primers. Also popped primers can lead to your gun going full auto if a piece of the primer gets hung in the firing pin. This guy Murray is a gunsmith and knows what he is talking about. Don

I'd replace the spring on the firing pin as it being missing may allow the spring to go too far forward. Also check the FP for chips or other sharp edges.
