AIM has/had them for $79.95 delivered! I bought two more at that price because I like the gun and I like AIM so I figuired it would be fine. I got my first one of the two the other day and it is outstanding! It is in excellent cond+ with full load of extras and a log book.
For less than $80, is there a better deal on the market for a rifle than the Yugo SKS? I know I have a C&R so I can get it a little cheaper than non-C&R holders but even at the gunshows, I have seen them for just over $100 and often they cleaned the cosmo off for you at that price!
I am impressed with SKSs in general and the quality of the Yugo in particular. I never bought one until recently because I thought they were cheap commie junk and the only ones I had seen were some of the worst Chinese SKS that were imported.
The Chinese SKS is a fine gun but it looks and feels much cheaper than a Russian SKS or a Yugo SKS. I consider the Yugo SKS to be a full sized rifle and not really a carbine. It is sort of an inexpensive way to own a M1 Garand type of battle rifle without having to spend $1000.
