side arm: Browning HP (since I am most familiar with them)
long gun: FN PS90

AK Pistol would not be practical as a sidearm.

Are you daydreaming about playing Will Smith's character in I Am Legend? Since that is the exact scenario you described, my choice is a Colt M4A1 with a Trijicon ACOG. In lieu of Will's Pentgon Light and standard M4 stock, I'd opt for a Surefire Scout Light and Vltor M4 Modstock. Oh, and put a Doctor on top of that ACOG. Sidearm is --even though I'm a SIG man-- Beretta M9A1.
