Pay it Forward in Reloading

I wrote to them at RCBS

( Yes it's a nice 1895 I got here through THR private sales )

Dear RCBS,

I bought a Rock Chucker Supreme at Cabelas in Hamburg PA about a year or so ago.
I have been using a hand priming tool until I found I could not prime my new 405 Winchester rifle cases.
I thought of the part that was not on my press and still have the original box but there is no part in there.
I can't say whether It was there or not, I never used it but now it seems like I need it for this cartridge.
Here are links to images to illustrate my situation. Can you help me please?

Thank you (sigsmoker)

Regarding post #2773

RCBS did send the assembly and I'm loading primers from the press for the .405.
Thanks anyway THR PIF for the attention my post got.

***Powder is spoken for***
I have 5-6lbs of Bullseye (in an opened 8lb jug) that I'd like to give away in a face-to-face with someone who is willing or able to meet near where I live. Since its in an open and partially used 8lb jug, you'd have to be ok with taking my word for what it is. Frankly, I'm tired of spending 1/2-1 hour after each reloading session (daily) cleaning out and trying to empty my Chargemaster. I've been using it in 9mm and .45acp with excellent results but it's just so damn "sticky" that it's hard to get out, and it's not static. When I used to use a Lee Pro Auto Disk it wasn't so bad but I just don't want to use it in the Chargemaster any longer. I'm likely going to switch to Accurate #2, #5 or go back to HP38 so if you have a pound or two you'd offer in trade that would be great but if not, you can have the Bullseye for nothing. I'd rather give it to someone who can use it than dump it in my garden.
I only ask that you meet me somewhere near where I live which is the Bluffton/Hilton Head/Beaufort area of South Carolina, about 1/2 hour north of Savannah, GA. So, if you live nearby or it's worth it to you to travel here for $100+ of free Bullseye, you're welcome to it. Thanks.

I'm not sure that's it's that easy to send powder irrespective of just the hazmat fee. Don't you have to be licensed or permitted or something in order to do that? If you want to check into it and PM me with what you find out, I'll put you down as an alternate if nobody wants to pick up locally.

Well, I still can't really figure out how this works. Somebody has to "win" or get "awarded" something I might offer? I have a bunch of reloading related "stuff" to offer free to a good home, but don't like it to be a contest to be """won""" or arbitrarily "awarded" to some one.

I sometimes cast extra boolits or have a mold I seldom use that I could offer up. Unused die sets,(ordered by mistake, then never returned).

Somebody PM me as to how to go about this great idea. What I seriously hope does NOT happen is for someone to get an item from me, then turn around and sell it on fleabay. I'll be watching!

Snuffy - most of your tenured members that participate in this thread have either been here a while or given something up to someone else before. I don't think that those with a fairly decent post count would do something like what you mentioned.

How this works is simple. If you are looking for something, ask and someone else may just tell you they have some. If you have something to pay forward, post it here. Usually the first person to say "I want it" gets it and you work out the details of sending it to them.

Check some of the recent in-thread conversations for details.

Im tooling up to start loading .223 and i'm in need of a die set if anyone has one they are not making use of i will give them a good home and put them to use!

Or you can give the item to whomever you want. Just specify the conditions in your post. Like to a newbie with less than 50 posts, a poor and deserving soul, or the owner of madam Bartholomew’s whoopee parlor.

Okay, here's what I have right now. A used but re-built 450 Lyman boolit luber/sizer. I got this off of fleabay, supposedly ready to bolt it down and use it. Yeah, right! It was full of caked black wax, the pressure bolt was stripped, it had the old fashioned metal rings pressure piston. The base plate was warped. I got new parts from Lyman, I re-built it, now it runs great. I have 2 now, don't need either one, but should hang onto to the other one.

I will include a couple of sizer dies for what ever size you need IF I have them. Also, it's filled with White label lubes carnuba red lube, I will include 3 sticks of that lube along with where to get more. C-red needs heat to flow, unless your room temp is 95 degrees!

Reason for this is I'm running powder coated boolits now, don't need the second luber. Some of the dies I can use when sizing the PC boolits, I have a push-through die holder that allows the use of the Lyman dies.
