Well, I took it to the range the day I got it, but the only ammo I could locate was some Leverevolution Hornady ammo. The recoil was quite stout from that load! When I didn't flinch the shot a foot low, it shot right where the sights were... at ~30 feet.
I've got dies and brass and bullets on the way. I'll be loading up some of my own ammo soon and learning to shoot it competently.
Only complaint is that it had been left bone dry, and there was some rust on internal parts. I popped the sideplate and (using a dissassembly guide book) took it apart as far as the rebound slide, which I couldn't get use. Liberally oiled, and rubbed rust off with a towel. The cylinder release is still very sticky and stiff, and I am starting to think someone lock-tite-ed the screw holding that catch/button on... I can't budge the thing. Any ideas?
It's also got a wide, flat serrated trigger on it. I pretty much only shoot revolvers DA, so I'm not in love with that. Eventually, I may swap out a smooth trigger, but keep the original one intact. And I've got a line on some Ahrend Retro Target grips that a buddy has lying around. That last part will happen sooner than any fooling with the trigger.
