At this point it doesn't matter what POTUS might do, do not let it die in Congress. Start writing your elected officials to support this people!

Since you're urging people to support a particular bill and not discussing the bill's specifics, wouldn't this be more likely to be seen by people who would contact their representatives if it were placed in the Activism forum?

If you have the time, make a phone call or write a hand-written letter. Those carry a lot more weight than an email or forwarded messages... unless your handwriting is like mine and you'd leave them wondering whether they just got a marriage proposal or a veiled threat (or both) in a language that only vaguely resembles English.
