My first magnum was a 4" Nickel 57 that I bought back around 1980 . Later I bought a blue 58 and then a nickel one . Then a 6" 657 . My interests changed in the 90's and I sold them all . Bad move and regretful .
Finally , many years later , I'm back . Picked this up yesterday . Appears new and with the blue hard case . I checked the serial and it looks like it was made about 1998-99 .
Hoping I can return to the Association now ?
KO, it looks like the new Henry will shoot, I will be curious to see just how well when you have more time to play with loads.
Have you picked up a big loop in 41 yet? I've got one sitting next to the bench, business has me going crazy with little time to shoot

For those interested ive been playing with loads for my Henry Big boy steel in 41 mag, Right out of the box its a 1" stack em up with irons at 50yds rifle, But finally got ahold of some 190gr hornady Ftx bullets, Loaded with 21 grs of H110 75Deg 300ft elev, out of the 20" barrel 10 rounds 2025 FPS average and accuracy was one ragged hole. This will be a potent Deer load! Only thing with this bullet i noticed is you MUST Crimp or it will not feed properly at all!
Wow, your lucky day. You did good.I fired a new-to-me Redhawk .41 today. I found it languishing on a police supply store rack unloved, ............................. It was originally priced at $600.00, but after three months there were no takers. .................and I finally talked the store clerk down to $375.00.
