Armscor/RIA MAPP MS info request (Tanfoglio/CZ?)

I happen to see this in a LGS for the 1st time.

I really like the way it felt in my hand. I have short fingers and this was a very comfortable reach to the trigger. I think because of how the grip is really cut in where the web of your hand is.

I know very little, to nothing, about them and looking for help from THR knowledge pool.

I think I know they ARE Tanfoglio and assembled and roll marked by RIA.

Im confused as to if it's a clone or copy of CZ.

Are all the parts interchangeable specifically including the safety lever?

Take CZ mags? Cheap or expensive mags?

Reliable?

The one thing I didn't like and it very well could be a deal killer for me is the shape of the manual safety. My thumb is short enough to miss it because of the way the saftey is shaped.

The extended saftey available for the Tanfoglio ($50) looks to have more shelf area toward the pivot point which is what I would need. If it fits the RIA, is that some thing I could do myself or is it fitted?

It is not a copy or clone of a CZ. It has Tangfoglio stamped into the grip so very likely it would interchange parts.

My visual processing is messed up due to concussions, so it's possible/likely that I'm mistaken. When I looked at the website, though, I thought the pistol looked a bit like my polymer Tanfoglio 40 caliber:

I thought that I had read that Tanfoglio was a copy of a CZ....?

Tanfoglio started as a clone of the CZ-75 about 30 years ago but nowadays the Force model, (most common), is not at all similar internally. OLD Tanfoglios, like the Springfield P-9, the Excam or FIE TZ-75 or TA-90 would USUALLY accept older 15 round CZ-75 magazines, but the newer CZ 16 round mags are a no go. They really have diverged quite a ways, so buy the right gear from the right people.
Edit to add, for the MSRP I'd rather have the real deal CZ - Buds Gun SHop is advertising the P-10C black for $445 and the P-07, (if you want hammer fired DA/SA), for $454. For me to be interested in this new and untested pistola, (if NOT a Tanfoglio), it would have to tempt me with some really fine features and a great price tag - it's a buyers market right now.

I got the 40 caliber Witness pictured above, and a very similar 45acp Witness for $250 apiece used, in very good condition. They were separate transactions. I'm not sure if I got great deals, or if that's roughly the going rate. They are both quality pistols and good shooters.

Tanfoglio has been around for a while and has made numerous other handguns in addition to their CZ75-inspired pistols.

I have the RIA MAP steel frame version in 9mm. My understanding it is all Tanfoglio made parts but assembled in Philippine by Armscor, RIA is the US branch, import and do the sales and warranty. Armscor Tanfoglio pistols are the small frame version that take CZ mags while EAA Witness switched to large frame. At least that is how it was maybe 6 or 7 years back. I prefer RIA since they offer life time warranty and EAA is 1 yr I believe and has a bad reputation on warranty service. RIA has the best warranty service in the industry. Using CZ mags is another plus, all my CZ and clones are small frame that use CZ mags. The 16 rnd mags.

EAA has had bad customer service from the get go, unfortunately. Tanfoglio deserves better.
