I’m just not sure what exactly they are. In the photos they are next to my K frame grips, and are considerably larger. He said he bought them years ago at a flea market for about 10 bucks. I told the owner I would buy him lunch one day since he wouldn’t let me pay him his money back or more. I would be inclined to believe that these are for a N frame due to age and size, but I am also leery that they may actually be for a large frame Taurus. Top grips (without medallions) are the grips in question. The K frame grips are off of my model 10.

Anybody got a better eye for this than I do?

Agree that you have a set of N frame Magnas without the medallions or washers, am not sure of the age but believe they were produced after the company stopped stamping the S/N of the revolver on the back of the right panel.

I'm pretty sure those are S&W factory N frame Magna grips, probably from the '70's/early '80s.

This is a set of Magna Target grips from a Model 57 I had back in the late '70s. I sanded them down a bit and reconfigured them to fit my hand better. I believe the S&W medallions were offset slightly on the Target grips to allow for the speed loader cutout.

No such thing as Magna target grips. They are either Magna grips or Target grips, 2 complete different critters. . What is pictured in your post is modified target grips. Grips in the original post appear to be N frame magnas, post 1968. Before 1968 there would have been a diamond around the screw hole
