N frame shoulder holster.

I got a deal from a friend for an old smith and wesson branded shoulder holster for a 4 inch n frame for about 30 bucks. That's a steal compared to quality leather holsters. However I do not own a 4 inch n frame would it be OK to use it for my three inch 29 and 629?

Of course it would.

An N-Frame is an N-Frame as far as cylinder size & holster fit goes.

It will fit.
And if it fits, you must ---- Ahhhh?

Remember in 48 Hrs. when Nick Nolte lost his 4" Model 29, he replaced it with a Colt Government Model. He used the same holster for both guns.
