Very neat old gun.

Smith 67 no dash 1974. Just a joy to shoot and love it’s looks. Want the same thing in 357 next.

Mine would have to be the Colt root in .28

Yes, steel frame. The Target Trophy is probably the "top" of Weihrauch line so they use steel frames both for the .22L.R. and the .357Mag version. They use zamak frames for .38Spl models and "entry level" .22L.R. revolvers.
On my example the zamak has been used for the trigger-and-grip housing and for some small parts like the trigger paddle and the hammer paddle.
