Nice to see you back collecting and wheeling and dealing Mike! How do you manage to shoot the Brownings and Berettas equally well? Usually if one fits great the other doesn't. I always had a hard time getting Berettas (O/U) to fit me............

I prefer the Browning Citori over the Beretta O/U's. The Brownings just fit me better!
 
Nice bragging collection Sir! That 20ga Browning with the 32" barrels looks like a sweet shooter. But I have never quite liked how Brownings set up for me, Beretta's and Remington mostly in my stable.
 
What was it about the Caeser Guerini you didn't like. I came across a used one in 28ga last year that I should of bought but for lack of funds, IIRC it was $3200, but felt alive in my hands and lined up like it was custom made. It had the 32" barrels also.
 
Longer barrels on light small bores are the way I prefer them. Have a gun writer friend who had Perazzi build him a 28 gauge with 80cm (31.5") barrels and on a 20 frame. It was built for Argentina (which he never took it to). Fixed tight chokes, it just fits me like a glove, so I asked him to leave it to me in his will......:rofl: and he told me I was about 23rd in line for it............

Lousy fit for me.
 
Now, here is the absolute worst shotgun I owned. The last iteration of the Ruger Red Label, 12 gauge/30". The older sub-gauge Red Labels were much better guns. This one was a rattle trap. Terrible fit and finish. 11345919894_a3034ab3cf_o.jpg
 
I'm still shooting the 325's Daddy, the Gti. Bought it new back in 1994 as it was being discontinued for the new 325. 24 years later, about 300K rounds............put new pins and springs in at 90K; works great.

Now my first O/U was a Red Label, circa 1991, put Kolar all gauge tubes in it. I loved that gun. After about 50,000 rounds it broke and went to Ruger. They went through it and replaced a bunch of worn and broken pieces. Another 10,000 rounds and it broke again. Fixed it and sold it to a guy with full disclosure. Bought my Beretta 682 Supersport from a buddy lightly used, full Kolar AAA tube set with all choke tubes. That was about 1994, am still shooting it along with a bunch of other guns.
 
I had the original RL in 28; the one they "supposedly" got right; they didn't. The ejector/extractor kept slipping over the rim. Three trips back to Ruger; they replaced everything internally and it never worked right, which was too bad as this was going to be my wild chukar gun. Then they tried again; and failed yet again.
 
The 20 and 28 gauge Red Labels were very good guns for what they were. The older models with the red recoil pads were the best!
