No soul

I received a new bullet mold last week and it's the first mold I have that casts bullets with no soul

9mm 128 gr TC with no lube groove

They sure drop out of the mold easy though.

Now this bullet has soul.

I'm betting that no one can tell me what mold this bullet came from.

Those 9MMs look good. Which mold is that? I'd like something in that range and style.
The 38s look like a Mihec MP mold.

The other is not a MP mold.

Ive been shooting 10mm and 9mm boolits with no soul with PC. My handguns really love them!

If you are talking about the second bullet, the SWC, it looks like an Ideal/Lyman 358431 bullet, one of the classic Keith designs.

When casting the bullets, crank up some Aretha. The bullets will become infused and your problem is solved.

Hey, it makes sense: soulless bullets for a soulless caliber.

I've been using Hornady's bullet feed dies to drop PC Cast bullets, but I'll bet it's smoother with no groove.

I haven't seen a bullet quite like that second one, which I assume is intended for .38 Spl.

The second bullet is cast from a Lachmiller 150 grain SWC mold. Chances are
it is a three cavity. The mold is marked 150 but it will throw a 160 grain bullet
with the right alloy.

I haven't seen a Lachmiller mold since Caesar invaded Gaul!

Nope. It's an H&G 64, 163 gr SWC. I just wish I had it in a four cavity! I'll have to look for the Lachmiller. I've picked up a few of them on eBay. Really good molds.

Some of today's work. 208 gr .44 cal wadcutter and 113 gr .38 cal wadcutter. I lucked into a "buy it now" deal on a very rare 358425 double cavity mold. I'm actually embarrassed about how little I paid for the mold. I've seen single cavity examples go for more than twice what I paid for the DC.

These bullets have soul.

<.001 runout, 223 12T,enough IMR4198 to get 2500fps out of my new ADL.This round made the trip up through mag.The engagement mark's are all the same width/depth.

That's what it is. I also have a Lyman .44 wadcutter 429348. It's a 180 gr designed to have half the body out of the case.
