Ok, technically it's now Christmas morning. What did Santa Bring you?

I was still restless after tidying up for Santa and got out the "Box O' Blackout". I am now the owner of a very cool Aero Precision Three Hundred Blackout Pistol. Everything will need to be torqued proper, but it all fits and works well.

I was told by Santa, when he snuck up behind me, that there were handloading dies under the tree, and that he really liked my pistol, too.
I turned to thank him and there was only sparkle! (How does he do that?:))

I'll have a picture here. (When I can get to my phone without waking a light sleeper!)
20181225_123209.jpg 20181225_123040.jpg I am not sure if I will cut the forearm or leave it for the suppressor. (That should be here by next Christmas...)

So...
What did you get?
(Hopefully a Merry Christmas and a lot of smiles and hugs, too!:))

I ordered myself a Burris Fastfire III sight for my Glock G19 MOS. My daughter got me a Keto diet cookbook, Mel Brooks movies, and a casserole pan. My son got me nothing, bless his heart. My dad gave me his old leather scabbard that he's used on countless big-game hunts all over North America. Weathered and stained from the sweat of pack horses, it is a cool piece of family history that I will display on my wall, girlfriend be damned...

5" gp100 in .44 special is at my FFL post office box as of this morning.
Got parts to finish up some of my projects, so I can start the new year with a clean gun project slate.
Now if I could just get my vehicle situation likewise, it would be a very good Christmas indeed.

Nobody gives me crap for Christmas. So I just write there names on stuff and say thanks.

A steel grip frame to do some work on and convert my buntline to a revolving carbine. A 5.56 bcg/ch combo for my AR to complete it again. A #1 wire drill for roughing out 22lr chambers. Picatinnny rail sections for an 870 will be going on top of my s&w model 10 to hold the reflex sight I’m due to get Wednesday. 2 pot/pan lid racks will be going into the safe to hold more pistols. .30carbine dies are coming Wednesday too. Hopefully I get a gift card or cash so I can buy a set or two of cheapish scope rings to mount my new scope to the AR.

Not exactly Santa; but I mentioned winning a USCCA (CCW carry insurance company) monthly drawing. Well, here is what it turned into:
CZ455.jpg
CZ455 in .22lr, I also got a Leupold 4x rimfire scope for it, I just don't have in installed in this picture.

R51.jpg
Remington R51, I just like that art-deco look. I also like that it is different from most other pistols.

1911-380.jpg
I have several 380 1911 Pattern pistols and I have been thinking about this one for over a year; so I decided to get it. As you can see, I was not sure about a short or long slide; so I purchased and extra slide-barrel assembly, that way I can have both. If I turn out to like it my plan is to mill the long slide for a red dot.

Yes, in the spirit of Christmas (and my personal scheduling issues) I picked them up yesterday. The gun-store was quite busy.

Hi...
My wife gave me an NRA leather wallet and $75 Cabela's gift card.
My son gave me a set of Caldwell Deadshot shooting bags and a brass catcher for my new AR-15.
Wife also got me two revolving stools with backs for the reloading room.
Bunch of other stuff that isn't shooting/hunting/firearm related.
Very nice Christmas...

Got a pack of underwear and socks from the GF, because that's all I needed. Too much junk around here already and she knows better than trying to buy me gun stuff, as I have a box of 22-250 she got me before I explained to her how many .22 calibers are out there. I keep it anyway because she meant well.

6 pair undershorts
3 t - shirts
3 pair long johns. Those will come in handy while I watch other people go deer hunting.
1- Some kind of flashlight that charges by being plugged into a PC--OH JOY.
A large throw my daughter made to keep me warm while I watch THR---Now that is something I can use.

Have a great new year--stay half-way sober
HJ

I'll probably end up with socks or something of the sort.

I gave myself a Savage Mark II FV and Santa brought me a Bushnell Rimfire scope I was able to get early. Work gave me a Texas roadhouse steakhouse gift card I'm going to use tomorrow.

A Boyd's stock for my last rifle with the plastic fantastic bendable stock. It's nice right out of the box but the great thing is there is plenty of excess wood to work with to get exactly what I want.

That's the material and firearm related side of things. The greatest gift is being able to gather all four generations of us together and enjoy each other's company. The highlight is four GG kids that I call the "stair step gang", little beauties all.

Gave myself a riton red dot and a riton 4 or 6 by 24,, forget which. Also a lil bushnell red dot. Not gun related but kinds, wife bought me a sausage grinder from Cabela’s , so now i have to kill some of the feral swine with my new red dot equiped long guns. Merry Christmas to the best messageboard online

0C2E65C4-2749-40C3-9380-62141E6E041C.jpeg I sold my sole AR, very happy to get rid of it. I used the money to buy myself a nice watch I'd been looking at, a Glycine Combat Sub Golden Eye.
