Are Ten-Twenty Twos really so heavy to need an ergonomic handle? Will it polish a shiny spot on that seven hundred dollar scope?

And, because it is made by a teir one, go fast, operational company, thousands of 'wish-I-were's will be carting around their rimfires and AR sniper rifle carbines by the scope tube. The whole time blithering on about how strong and flex free their sixty-sixty five T six scope tubes are. And why Nightforce or Sphur hadn't hought of it long before now. So much more tactical than a sling, it frees up the sling for tourniquet!

Honestly it's so silly I'm happily waiting for the reviews!:)
But that's just my take on it.

(Where is the sling? Why wouldn't one want their hands free?)

I would pass on it also. Even if there was no structural stress on the scope, I would not want the extra wear on the scope finish.

Apparently it is available, although I have to think it's a joke: link.

And here I thought LaRue's M-Lok coffee Thermos was a bit much.

It's a little goofy. I guess if they sell, they sell, but I know I'd feel like a clown carrying my gun around with one of those things. Even if I'm hunting miles from the nearest human being, it would feel ridiculous.

While I fairly offten carry, or pick up my rifles by the scope, I do so because it's already a convenient hand hold. If I gotta reach for a strap, might as well use the sling or grab the whole thing.

Thats just wrong. Makes you wonder if you saw that once in a lifetime trophy squirrel and quickly brought the 10-22 to shoulder, fired but missed and that goofy floppy handle flopped to the right it might keep the bolt from reciprocating and trophy squirrel runs away to get even bigger.
Really though, if this sells well im putting out my invention. Sticky buttpads so you stick your rifle to your shoulder and wander aimlessly around with your gun dangling from your armpit.

Come on guys, it’s not as if a carry handle has never been tried before, odd as it may seem to some of us. One person’s gimmick is another’s eureka!

It's not the handle that is wrong, it is how it is attached.
It might have been more palatable if it involved a customised set of rings and some alligator clips or similar attachment to them. Something like this:

Some paracord around the rifle, or leather straps around the rifle would work just as well.
