Has anybody actually shot at Thompson dimension? What were your thoughts and opinions?
I'm looking at a new bolt gun (in short action left hand) and am basically down to a thompson dimension or a Ruger American predator. From what I can tell by handling them in the store, the dimension has a smoother action, better trigger, better ergonomics, and a lower base price. However, the looks are.....polarizing. I don't mind them myself. Form following function. Also, it looks like the platform is basically on life support.
The Ruger is threaded, accurate and has aftermarket support. But the action sounds like a zipper, I'm not a fan of the Glock style trigger and the stock is garbage.
I'm not interested in other options unless you know of a left hand Tikka for around $400.
