Got a 1000 rounds of 223 brass from a company in Kansas called R3 Brass. It’s once fired military. The ones I have measured are under 1.740...3 thousands or so. All my manuals say a 223 case should be 1.750. I full length sized a few and they come out at 1.740. Is this too short? Any advice would be appreciated.

Load shoot repeat .
As long as the bullet is near about the lands your fine.
Only issue you may have depending on your crimp method if any.

Manuals usually give a “trim-to” length of 1.750”. If it’s any comfort, the SAAMI spec for 223 Rem brass is actually 1.760-.030, so you’re way inside that range. Like others have said, load’em and shoot’em.
