Here is an easy question: What is the prettiest gun for you to look at?

Fell in love with Model 94 Winchester rifles a few years ago. (my first deer rifle in 1970 was a 94 in .32 WS)

It is by far my favorite rifle to look at... ( I do shoot it too - regularly )

As far as pistols go I find the Glocks to be lookers. (and shooters too)

For those of you who have read any of my post here lately I have gained a taste for the appearance of single action revolvers with 6ish inch barrels. I prefer the engraved or case hardened.

Tough to nail it down to one.

If it came down to the ones that I own, pride of place would seem to indicate this one.

Lots of American walnut, exceptional *feel* to it, wonderful to hear the action.... Just plain beautiful.

Todd.

Love those. But, being a smaller guy, I always wondered how shorter soldiers were able to wield those things?

Among those I get to lay eyes on, I'm very partial to polished-stainless revolvers with wood stocks.

I also find the deep bluing on many European all-steel pistols almost mesmerizing. Usually, it's the Eastern-Euro ones, like the Com-Bloc guns, and my Bulgarian Mak is definitely up there, but the finish on my Star Super B almost wants me to go swimming in it (as to the OP, incidentally, I bought that gun along with another, a Winchester 94, together.)

I don't need pretty guns. I like ugly guns that work good. The uglier the better.
