Quick question, I have a Browning Buckmark barrel I would like to shorten to 2.5." Will this still generate enough pressure to cycle reliably without modifying the recoil spring?
Yeah I lopped one down to about 2" ran fine.
Admittedly, I break a lot of perfectly good stuff lolOl’ Loony has done just about everything to guns it would seem.
Speaking of, if you want my snubbed camper barrel you can have it. I screwed up the sight install.....twice....so it's really only usefully with an optic or if your going to fix it.Quick question, I have a Browning Buckmark barrel I would like to shorten to 2.5." It probably is to a degree, but how much I don't know.On this same note, does barrel length have anything at all to do with a recoil operated gun's ability to cycle? The way I think of it is that there has to be enough pressure generated in the barrel to operate the slide, and less barrel length=less pressure, is there any truth to that?
I cut mine so i could shove it into a pocket, or my into a fanny pack.Dumb question. Why? Shorten the barrel.
