What are yall's thoughts on the .357 SIG necked down to .251 caliber ? You could load 25 ACP bullets for it. I imagine a 50 grain XTP at 2,000 fps or so would really knock the socks off a wood-be murderer.
If small and light I would think varmint hunting may be about it.
As a whole, is there any real use for hyper velocity (1800+fps) handgun rounds ?

...but I love shooting handguns at rifle distances so it's a pretty esoteric desire.

.32 NAA sure does sound like a handy little cartridge. I bet it'd make a great short range bobcat and fox round out of a little 16in bbl bolt action rifle.32 NAA is about as close as i think you will find. 380 necked to 32. I find it a really intriguing little round. I think it would make a neat trap-line type revolver; small caliber but 6" barrel.
60gr @ 1200fps from a 2.5" barrel
60gr @ 1450fps from a 4" barrel
80gr @ 1000fps from assumedly a 2.5" barrel
A 10mm necked down to 32 would make an interesting round. Similar to 32-20 but shorter and higher pressure.
