I hear ya, Brother. These things are crazy expensive. I think list is $1,800.00 and as was mentioned earlier, the waitlist is crazy. You can have one now - but it'll cost ya. I think Gunbroker prices start with a 2 and a 3. I don't think this is COVID dumb stuff pricing related though. I think that's just the market for these guys. haven't been keeping close track though. I know 45LC ammo is still doggone expensive!Gorgeous gun! I've wanted one for years as well, but never been able to find one in my range. Great snag, though!

Wow - that's really helpful understanding that the leather is coming from South Africa. I thought it was a US company. It isn't; SAA's have been high as a cat's back for several years now. Still, I'm holding on to hope that I'll "luck" into one. As to the grips, ivory is expensive but stag is just as nice and that cheaper. I bought a holster from Azula, and it took over a month to get here from S. Africa due to Covid & etc. They were very helpful and kind to me, though.

Put a few shekels back every week and end up with this - maybe...
Hehehehehe - yeah - right! I hadn't thought about selling ammo. I guess I could dip into the stash...It is, but many of their products are made in S.A.; the owner is originally from there and has sources, apparently. I will say that for $50, you get more than your money's worth. The holster I ordered from my Single Six is extremely well made of heavy leather, and it's stood up well to the rigors of farm use.
Quite beautiful, I admit. And though the price seems mighty high, it isn't all that bad considering what you're getting. And, if you're so inclined, you could sell of 3 or 4 bricks of 22lr ammo and have them paid for!

So the next thing is waiting for the El Paso Saddlery 1920 Thomas Threepersons leather and new belt from Grey Eagle Leather. I purchased a stopgap Azula Leather pancake holster, but apparently that got lost in shipping. Gotta follow-up on that tomorrow. I absolutely plan on carrying this gun. Will need to train with it though - and I don't reload anymore. That's going to sting.
Struggling with the investment of real deal ivory grips. Those guys are EX - PEN - SIV.
