Yes money is tight these days but I came across an excellent condition, but-gasp, fired 1964 Colt .45 SAA New Jersey Tercentenary with the original presentation box. A nickel gun with a blue cylinder in about 95% with serial #231 of 250 made in 1964. This was the year I left New Jersey , largely because of their emerging gun policies! Being it is fired and maybe even was carried a little (or pulled in and out of a holster a few times) I offered $1000 out the door for an early 2nd issue Colt .45 SAA that they wanted $1500 (plus 9% tax and $38 lic.) and they took it after some deliberation. I;ll pick it up around the 1st and post pictures on this thread.I fully intend to shoot this one some, although I don't think I'll lose any money when my relatives sell it when I'm gone. Has anybody heard of this Issue of SAA ? I hadn't.
