VZ makes excellent grips.I think I could love a 3" model. I was about to pull the trigger on one of these but a Taurus Defender with the VZ grips became available. So to make a long story shorter the Kimber is still on my bucket list.
Well, you could use the Kimber DASA 3 inch as your primary concealed carry gun with the S&W as a back-up gun. Loading the Kimber with the same .38 special load in the S&W Airweight would give you ammunition compatibility. Your Colt KC Target probably doesn't conceal as well as the Kimber DASA 3 inch will. Just some thoughts...This thread is killing me since I read it last night. Kinda have a crush on the 3” and what happens to be in the display when I check for primers this morning? Yup...I’m legit afraid to go back in there right now but also very willing with logical encouragement.
I just bought a Colt KC 4” Target a year ago. My only .357. I also have a S&W Airweight in +p .38. Is this filling a gap for me?
I need a reason for this gun beyond my physical attraction.
Disclaimer: all negative posts for moving forward on purchase will likely be disregarded.
I think would be a nice inbetween role, KC for HD, k6 primary and airweight backup or light carry. Ammo shares, it doesn't make fiscal sense to NOT buy it at this point.

I went one up on that. I bought a K6s 2” DAO two months ago. I own a S&W 442 for the last 8 years. And... I have a S&W 340PD on the way. Actually scheduled to arrive at my FFL today. 12oz, 15oz, and 23oz all covered.
