Northfork Tactical SPP Unis Ginex import

Nothing. I purchased from Armadillo Arms and requested a refund that never came. I had to call Credit card company to get refund. Buyer Beware.

Last update I got from Noah at NFT was that he expected it to be in July. Everyone on here that asked for a refund from NFT got it promptly as far as I know. I've kept my order open. I've since picked up primers elsewhere, but 7 cents ea is starting to look pretty damn good, and when they do come in, I'll likely increase my order.

latest message from Noah:

Good evening everyone,
I’ll be sending out a comprehensive email with the final status of the primer presales tomorrow. I’ve spent my entire day on multiple phone calls about this and at this point in the day I need to get my kids to bed. Our permit has been approved for import of not only primers but numerous other items, primarily ammo. Tomorrow I will give everyone all the information regarding this early enough in the day to field responses. Thank you all for your continued patience and support through this ordeal. It has been one of the biggest hurdles I have had to overcome since I got into this business. More tomorrow...

Received this also, should find out more today, hoping it's good news.

Still waiting on the todays news. I got 3 emails yesterday all the same as posted here...

Not good news. I'll be requesting a refund because Zincpoint is selling the same SV primers for .14 each. His message:

Hello again,

Straight to the point here.

So our import permit was approved early this week, which is a huge win on many fronts for my company. I immediately called my supplier to get the ball rolling on these primers and other items of interest to be shipped over. A couple hours after we spoke he called me back and informed me that the pallet of primers held for me had been inadvertently used for his loading operations (he is an ammo manufacturer) and claimed it was a mistake. There were words. Believe me. The logical next move was to find more, and as a loader he definitely has them. They are, however, not what I originally ordered. Here’s where we are at…

What is available:

I can get SV Primers (country of origin is Argentina) and I am told they are better than Ginex. He is currently using them for his commercial loading operations with no reported problems. I was originally given a price of $.25/primer and balked given the obvious situation I’m in and was able to work him down to $.15/primer cost to me which is also what he is paying for them. I’m only disclosing this information so nobody thinks I’m trying to gouge when I mark them up a small amount to cover my costs for this. As some of you on High Road have stated, I’ve already paid the taxes on your orders, had merchant services fees taken out and the administrative costs associated exist as well. After discussion with my accountant we have reached a price of $.19/primer to cover my costs and ensure I don’t end up losing money on this deal. At $.19 I stand to basically break even.

How this would work is:

Anyone who wants out and requests a refund will get one. Hopefully this isn’t everyone because that would definitely result in a significant loss to me, which I am willing to accept and anticipated as a possible scenario when I made the decision to do this early this year. My only goal has and still is to deliver primers to the reloading market where manufacturers have refused to since the buying surge. Anyone who wants to keep their order, reduce or expand their purchase may do so. I will need an email stating what you’d like to do so I can get a full count and place the order. These are not going anywhere so there’s no worry it will not happen. If you choose to stay in, we will recalculate the cost for the requested quantity and I will send an invoice via PayPal. Once orders are in, I will make the phone call, the pallet will be packed and we should be no further than a week out.

I have spent the past week while dealing with this reality making phone calls all across the country and to various international suppliers trying to find a better deal and everyone, from the big dogs down to the small fries who manufacture primers are refusing to sell to the retail market for reloading. My supplier is only willing to do this with me because of the relationship we have and continue to build. It is unfortunate that it has come to this and I offer my sincerest apologies to you all for making you wait this long and then having to jack up the price over 300%, but this is the best deal I am able to generate, and the only one available on a recurring basis. I will be able to continue to get primers in the future. The price will continue to fluctuate just like ammo does, but they will be available. I was told that even for commercial loading operations that CCI is selling primers for $.25 WHOLESALE!

So here we are. Please let me know what you’d like to do so we can keep the momentum going. It’s taken this long and we are almost to the finish.

I stayed in for my original order, but not adding any. I've got another source that's under .10. If I like the SV primers, and my other source dries up, I may contact him, but .19 is a little steep.

My response to Noah. I had 2 separate 5K orders.

"Based on the email a few minutes ago, please refund this order completely.
Good luck in your future endeavors, In my opinion, your supplier has not been standup in his dealings.
Use a pallet by mistake, replace a pallet in kind.
Thanks in advance,"

I overpaid a little to Brownells last week at a dime a primer, but what the hell, it was just a Benjamin.

Triple the original deal price won't work for me.

Just read my email. Wow....... Yep Time for a refund. Total &^$# move by the guy who was "holding" them(Mmhmmm). I'm going to see if he will name them so I don't buy anything from them either. 0.19 cents a piece? that's almost gouge broker pricing lol .... Basically 395 primers is $75.00 Can and have gotten 1k for slightly more right now. Appreciate the gesture, effort and communication, but no thank you Noah.

here's my reply....

Hello Noah.

I'm going to have to step out at this time. In addition to my refund, I would like to know this ammo makers name so I do not buy anything from them. I think it's horse crap they "forgot". They should have replaced what they used no questions, as that was already paid for by myself and others in the group. I do appreciate the effort and communication from you during this matter. But I cannot afford that price when there are cheaper options out there atm. So let me know what's next. Once again thanks

Agree. I also don’t understand the price reference of CCI at 25 cents each. A couple weeks ago, I purchased 2k each CCI SPP standard and magnum from Brownells at $75/brick. A 4K order helped spread the HAZMAT/shipping.

Same here, not as many though.

I was in it until the last email. This is a shame I was pulling for this guy but I'm not paying $0.19 for foreign primers. I will be fine paying half the price for American made stuff with a history of reliability.

I’m out too. Sounds like his supplier really screwed him over. I guess it’s in Canada so legal action would be more complicated, but in what world is “yeah… I used your merchandise, here’s more and I’ll only charge you 3x the price” acceptable business practice?

Primers are a bit scarce now but not THAT dear.
