Assume equals ass-u-me. Just an idle thought. For the most part it matters not what you carry (weapon selection) as you most likely are not going to be involved in exchanging weapon fire with others unless you are military or law enforcement. Weapon selection by a citizen is their individual choice on the other hand avoidance of stupid people, places and things may be more significant then weapon type choice. Weapon caliber and capacity are endless discussions full of chatter pro and con. Yes each month in NRA publications there is the ?Armed Citizen? column. There is also the environmental of where one resides and occupation factors. I have not been involved in a shooting incident since my Marine Days in Viet-Nam. Do I conceal carry yes. My EDC is a S&W Shield 9X19mm. Should there be a shooting incident I'll either survive or I won't as no one promises you tomorrow.
