here's a couple C series 2nd gens that he did!
Here's a couple more he did. The Whitneyville is an Uberti and the 1862 Pocket Navy another 2nd Gen Colt!

I also have an Uberti pocket police and the grip is a bit smaller than the Colt. The Pocket Police (Uberti) is on the smaller "pocket" frame.
I haven't shot the 1861 enough to really know yet.How does the pocket police fare to the standard 1861 ?
Opinions vary… so it goes. This may be so and may explain why the 2nd gens are pretty much the worst of the "reproduction" / continuation of bp revolvers! They would have been better if they HAD been supplied by Uberti!! Lol!!

Yup. The original guns were built as sidearms a man could bet his life on. And it's a debate whether even a Hege-Remington can shoot with an original.Original Colts I've worked on with correct period action parts looked way better...
They are all assembled kits but odds are a Pietta will be closer to ready to shoot out of the box. The problem with Uberti is you can guarantee the arbor will be too short, guarantee, I'm not certain they have ever made one correct.I was kind of hoping to get one that worked out of the package.
