You must buy either a: Walther WMP or PSA 5.7 Rock

Because I trust their QC more than PSA.

I can find .22 mag way easier and cheaper than 5.7.

I love Walther.

I'm betting the Walther trigger is much better but I haven't looked yet to see if it's a PPQ/PDP style trigger. Regardless, the Rock's trigger is promised to be better than the FN57 and PSA Dagger/Glock... Which isn't saying much.

I'm betting the Walther had better ergonomics because Walther.

I would go with the Walther for pretty much all of the same reasons JeeperCreeper listed. That and I also have .22 Mag ammo around for my Ruger Single Six; nothing in the way of 5.7mm. ammo.

I would go with walther. For one. 22 mag is alot more common to acquire. 22 mag id also cheaper.

I’m considering the PSA because I don’t have a 5.7.

Walther if I only to get a closer look at the dual mag release they have on that thing. Plus a rimfire works better legally for trapping and hunting. Center-fire handguns need to meet the energy requirements for deer hunting in my state certain times of the year as well in possession of a unfilled deer tag to be carried while hunting anything.

Risky choices this soon in the life of those guns, but if I was a gambling with the genie's money for the pistol (and me buying the ammo) I'd try the Walther.

5.7 ammo is at least twice the price of .22 MRF yet only at best 20% more powerful. The new Walther has some very interesting points and yes they have excellent QC

I vote Walther too. I own Walther's. They have proven reliable.

I would ask the Genie "Why do I need or want either of them"

What do you plan to do with it?

I had to have a FN 5.7 so I bought one. Expensive. Got a case of ammo when it was cheap. Shot it a few times. Useless other than a "wow factor"
I reload and 5.7 is just to much trouble. 22 Mag and 5.7 is expensive!
If you want a 22 mag buy the Kel Tec, it actually works.

Sold it , lost money.

5.7 is good for reloaders if you have small fingers and a OCD mindset. Tons of bullet selections but the case is not tolerate super hot loads, should will get BLOWN OUT

I would not want to discover that either choice was in pieces and the pins were all missing, or the serial number scratched out, poorly.

WOW, I have much better dreams than that!

This thread made me look hard at the WMP. Watched a couple of internet videos on it. Even called Cabelas today which showed they had one in stock for $500 w/o tax.

Afterwards went out and looked at the PMR30 in safe. Decided it met my .22 Mag auto pistol needs for now. Then ordered a $60 Desantis leather holster for it from MidwayUSA. The way I look at it I’m $440 ahead.

I can live with that.

Except if its a Umarex "Walther" such as the CCP or P22.

It is not.

PSA. Walther has the worst Customer Service in the firearm industry, maybe even outside of the firearm industry. And this is coming from someone who loves their PPQ. PSA may not have "build quality", but I bet they at least respond to e-mails, let you buy slides and don't charge you for sights that go flying off the first time you shoot the gun.

It hurts, but . . . the Walther.

I love PSA, but I'm not interested in teeny tiny boutique-quey ammo.

If the genie threw $549 at me, it's mine now, and I can buy what I want...which is neither one of those.

For this hypothetical question, if suddenly those were the only two handguns in the world, I'd buy the Walther because I can actually get .22 Magnum.
