What did you shoot today?

Had the range almost to myself today, feels a little weird. Coworker eventually showed up. Felt like an off day, last trip my AR was shooting like crap and did okay with my Mosin, it was the opposite today. Brought both my M44 and 91/30 Mosins, tries to sight in the M44 with a sight pusher I bought off ebay. Got it better... decided to try my Mas 1949 a little more. That was a disaster, I swear my first time out with it I did much tigher, today was horrible and forgot how heavy the trigger was. My AR is a Sig m400 Tread with a Sig Bravo 3

Pistols:
Glock 19
Glock 29
Bulgarian Makarov
Mauser HSc 380 (Interarms)

The Mauser is shooting better. It was NIB and I shoot a couple of mags every range day to break it in. We shot at plates 50 yards and hit metal on at least half the shots. No malfunctions.

Long Guns
M1A. Which we had for over 25 years.
M1A1 Tanker which we got NIB two days ago. What a great gun.
DSS FNAL almost a year old and never shot. Super

Fired at 100 yards with Lithuanian 7.62. Accuracy was 50% at plates offhand at 100 yards.

Temp 93 degrees on the range.

Happy Birthday Dad had a great time!!

Our muzzle loader club had the Saturday shotgun and novelty shoot today. Today's novelty shoot was a bench shoot where you shot three sighters then you were to put a target, with a circle with an X behind your sighter target. Closest to the X, for six separate shots/targets wins.
Started off pretty well with my TVM Jaeger flintlock but finished up way off. :(
Think I'll name it "Lightning" since it,(or me), didn't hit the same spot twice. o_O

He just aquired a '58 SA, and it was his first time with both the Garand and Carbine. I hadn't shot my '44 SA in a couple years. We were both shootin pretty darn good, mutiple hits through the same hole (granted, its only 25 yards).
Best of all, no Garand thumb!:D

I shot the SIG P210-6 and the wonderful FN 150 again yesterday. I have decided to shoot the same guns again in the next weeks, instead of being the usual gun whore.

Nightlord,

I had an extremely accurate 30 M1 about 25 years ago and it was a lot of fun to shoot. Sold it off when I decided to reduce calibers and unfortunately also sold the Swedish M38s and M96 and the dies. Nevertheless, the guns that replaced them and have stayed with me were making up for the loss.

So many guns, so little time to shoot them all.

4 inch at range with loader and block.jpg

Match got cancelled but I still managed to shoot my S&W 617 at the Public range. Our range was flooded. We are getting lots of rain this month and really need it so I don't mind missing a match.

I used my DS-10 speed loaders and 2 Pelican 160 boxes converted to loading blocks for the 617. Each holds 140 rounds. I set up one box with Remington Golden Bullets and the other with Federal AutoMatch.

the Remington's all went off with the first strike while 4 of the AM's had to be turned to fire and one didn't fire after being turned and struck 5 times.

I practiced my grip and enjoyed all 280 bullets as they went down range. Turned out to be a good day even though the match was cancelled.

Not today, or yesterday. But on Saturday...

Both of one of our Son's two rifles.
His new Henry carbine in 45 Colt and his Marlin 45-70 with a new scope since I last shot it.

Wish i had taken more pictures.

Shot 9mm in a Walther, 357 in a Python, 44 mag in an Anaconda, 223 in something that I cannot recall...........
except I want one!
30 rounds in less than 3 seconds.
Oh yeah!

Plus we shot Tannerite and took out a 14 inch DBH* aspen that had thousands shot through it holding our targets.
The tree started to make creaking sounds so we knew we had to shoot it down!
Down it went.

Fun with part of the family!

*Diameter @ breast height.

My lovely wife shot this nice, 5-shot, 9/16" group at 50m using a Savage Mk II and SK Standard Plus .22lr ammo. She had a fantastic group going until the final shot, which she pulled low. Still, something for her to be pleased with, especially since she is just getting back into target shooting after a few decades :)
