thanks for that! I do like the 45 Colt cartridgeIt's up to you.
If you have that Serial Number correct that one was made in 1956, the first year of 2nd Gen production.
If it was a 1st Gen, which it is not, it would be a rare gun as only 25 1st Gens were chambered for 38 Special.
But the SA suffix tells us it is a 2nd Gen.
Personally, I would not be interested in a 38 Special 2nd Gen, all of mine are 45 Colts.
Probably a decent price these days.
This shop today just received everything good on consignment this week! wish I had more gun moneyThat's a very reasonable asking price. If you want a 7 1/2 .38 Special I'd be grabbing it. Course I would try to get it for less.
your name is .38 Special and you don’t romance in .38! lolThat's a bit lower than is typical for 2nd generation Colts, probably because of the chambering. Most of us who buy such guns are into the romance of the things, and the .38 is not a very romantic cartridge.
Beautiful!your name is .38 Special and you don’t romance in .38! lol
I did put this .38 Colt Match on Layaway! Had to! very CLEAN and comes with a Oak Box! I’m a sucker for a box
