I have drooled over these Swiss K-31/55 Zfk's but the price, north of 4k has always kept me away. I finally found one that I could justify the cost. Most Military snipers are just a production line rifle that may have exhibited better than average accuracy, not the Swiss. Heavy barrel, receiver is rotated to the right so you can use the charger bridge with the scope centered over the bore, and brass ejects clear of the scope. The scope mount is machined as part of the receiver, extra bolt lug, bi-pod that attaches to the bottom of the receiver. Mated spare parts roll. Now the wait for big brown.

That looks awesome. Range report, please!

/That bipod is in an interesting place too.

Whoa, that's something you don't see every day. The K-31's even sexier sister.

There can't be too many of those in country.

What did it go for? $3k?

Cool how they rotated the whole action to mount the scope.

Is this a monogamy situation or are you guys taking an open approach? I should would enjoy fondling that fine specimen.

Sweet.
I am in process of getting the younger sister... the Stgw-57. Should come in July.

Thanks for the kind comments. If you have looked at these you'll see prices from 4k to well past 5k. If your patient you can find a nice one for under 3k. Still a lot of money but the prices on these have continued to climb faster than inflation. I consider it a savings account I can play with.

Looking much like the K-31 it only shares four parts with the K-31. The cocking piece, the firing pin, the firing pin spring, and the extractor. All other parts are special to the Zfk55. The scope is a 3.5 power, typical of European military sniper rifles. Total production was 4150.
