i am looking to see if anyone would be interested in a thread all about SNUBNOSE REVOLVERS. perferablly under 2.5 inches but i guess we can stretch it to 3. Smiths, Rugers ect... what you have, what you would like to have, what you carry, how you carry it ect.. i really love J-Frames and carry one every day. after the holidays i am hoping to aquire a pre lock model 36 nickel plated or a nicely blued model 49. i love shooting them, reading about them and really like seeing pictures of them. so post pictures of them if you can. maybee this thread can connect someone with the belly gun they have been searching for.

Here's a couple.

I have many J frames and a small pile of 3 inch K frames.

The J frames are good pocket guns, 'third guns' in the winter for jacket pocket carry, and Fit well in a Galco Ankle Glove.

With my (Injured) feet I can't wear more than an airweight there for long.

Maybe like this thread here?

http://www.thehighroad.org/showthrea...nose+revolvers

It's alreaady got 4,000 posts in it, so anything that can be said about snubs probably already has been.

Damn.
Do you have a list of topics that are acceptable? BTW. Is seeking out newcomers and crapping in their threads a Frat House kind of thing, or do you do this just for your own amusement?

this is not meant to compete with the 642 club which is where your link takes me. i really enjoy that club and i am subscribed to it, post in it, and have spent a great deal of time in it. i was hoping to start something a little more broad. all makes of snubs old and new. i really enjoy THR and even though i have not been a member for very long, i plan to be. if something like this has already been done recently i apologise. like i said, i'm pretty new here but share the same interests as many of you. Respectfully, M-C

It's not a Smith & Wesson, or a Ruger, but a Charter Arms Undercover 38 from the 70's...maybe 80's I guess. The grips are from current production Charters and fit perfectly.

Good gun.

Eh, what's the point of a discussion board if things can't be ... discussed. I'll play too.

I've got two snubnoses, both Colt Cobras. The 2" nickel .38 (it appears the only pic I have is the one from the day I bought it) is what I have with me when trailering horses, and the 3" .22 is my practice gun and also what I used to qualify for my CCW; I was the only one in class using a revolver! The .38 was made in 1959, and I think the .22 was made shortly thereafter, but I haven't looked up the serial number yet.

Sorry for the small size, I can't seem to figure out how to post larger photos without them being too large.

Merry Christmas, MC Charlie

Here's a Taurus 85UL that's been my go-to carry gun for the last two years.

Definitely Not

I can't stand another thread where I have to see K Frame 66s and 19s in all their 2.5 inch glory. :neener: Cuz I want one soooo bad. :cuss:

Threads take on their own life, they either endure or they don't. Bandwidth is cheap.

It had more freckling than Orphan Annie, but it locks up like a Colt should autta. I give up on paying high dollar for carry guns, just cause they're pretty.
