4) APPLICATION FOR BULLETPROOF BODY ARMOR:
Maryland law mandates that all persons with a prior CONVICTION for a crime of violence or a drug trafficking crime are
prohibited from using, possessing, or purchasing bulletproof body armor without a permit issued by the Secretary of the
Maryland State Police.
NOTE: A permit to use, possess, or purchase bulletproof body armor is not required for persons not convicted of a
crime of violence or a drug trafficking crime.
I don't know anyone who would wear one unless they needed to.... Even after wearing one for many years I couldn't wait to take it off at the end of a shift.
Prepare to have your luggage inspected. I don't think the X-rays will go through the ceramic plate. Put expensive/delicate stuff in your carry on.
ya know -- I never would have figured that until watching some documentary...prob about gangs...and it talked about Maryland... some of your areas can compete/surpass with our New Orleans.CDR - Where in MD will you be? I ask because there are definitely some gnarly areas in the state, but most of them you probably won't have any reason to find yourself in anyhow.
