Here is mine....I didn't do a straight copy as I'm a righty and didn't want the ambi-safety... I got small hands so the ext. slide stop is a must. I used the drop in beavertail as I am NOT dehorning a USGI frame for this. Other than that I think I've got it done....I do have a few PWS rear sights but I like the Novak more. Bar-sto bbl, shok buff, 18.5# spring all the other stuff is in there like its supposed to be.

Here it is with my late '80s rebuild M1911A1 clone on a sistema frame.

It was brought to my attention to move the Sistema frame to the MEUSOC and dehorn it and put the USGI frame under the USGI slide and have a late'80s rebuild 1911A1. Thoughts on this???

I still have enough parts to build a second one if needed..

That looks nice.

I carried the MEUSOC as my secondary. Loved the feel, recoil and accuracy. Those boys in Quantico had it right.

Here is my MEU(SOC) from Dave Berryhill. This is based off of a Colt MKIV Series 70 which had been bubba'd:

DUDE! An extended slide stop on a MEU/SOC is just.....wrong.
It's ok..I have the correct Caspian SS fitted for it so I can swap it right in...

I'd just like to add I that I like the atmosphere here much better......I posted the same thing on another forum http://forum.m1911.org/showthread.php?t=93621 and it turned into the 18.5# vs 16# spring argument..
