worst gun ever owened

The name has already been mentioned...

...but to answer the original question truthfully, out of every gun I've ever owned, by FAR the worst is a Jiminez 9mm. PLEASE understand that I never ever would have purchased that gun, it was given to me by a friend who decided he didn't trust himself to own a gun (probably made a good move there, he certainly shouldn't trust his taste/judgement in purchasing the right one either!) WHAT A PIECE OF (insert your favorite bleepy-word here). I'm not even sure if the original owner had ever even fired it, it showed absolutely no signs of use or wear. I could tell by the PLASTIC TRIGGER that this thing was low-quality, but I took it to the range to see what it could do. WOW... so where to begin, guess I'll start by saying that the 3rd round I ever fired through the gun caused the loaded-chamber-indicator to fly off and land somewhere behind me....:barf:
It is a striker fired gun (that I would NEVER carry chambered, or at all for that matter:uhoh:) and the loaded chamber indicator was an orange cap that was attached to the striker itself, so through a port-hole located where the hammer would be, you could see if the striker was cocked or not. I was not amused, but not really surprised either, when that flew off three rounds in. Regardless of that, the gun consistently shot 6" to the left at 30 feet. For those who may think that could be my trigger-pull, I know myself well, and when I 'yank' the trigger, it places my shot to the right of the bullseye, never to the left. this gun shot way too far left at way too close a distance. The plastic trigger pulls like absolute junk, and the handle itself has sharp edges that dig into your hand painfully with each round. This 9mm is far more painful to shoot than my 4" SW .44mag! Also, the slide is made of zinc, and could basically break and fly off the gun with any given shot. This POS hasn't left my safe since that first range trip.

I'm waiting for an opportunity to melt it into an ash-tray!!! :D

Lancaster firearms AK-74. I should have gotten an Arsenal AK-74, but I made the mistake and the darn thing has fallen apart. Headspace issues, rivets poorly installed and buckling. I would not recommend buying anything from Lancaster.

Smith & Wesson 4566TSW, it had a horrible problem with failure to feed(s). I loved the gun itself.. Looked great, felt great, and I got it for a great price.

I guess I've been lucky. The only gun I've ever had any issue with is my 20 gauge single shot. The forearm would come off when shooting slugs, but that has since been fixed.

my stinker

I REALLY wanted a big .22 LR revolver with a scope as my handgun hunter a few years ago. picked up a new in box Taurus Tracker .22 Lr 6" BBL. i must have run 6 different types of ammo through that hunk of crap and i couldnt get it to group inside 3 inches... even with the scope on.... at 7 yards... benchrested!!!! i took it to a gun show and traded it for a great 10-22 folding stock.

now i handgun hunt small game with my two Ruger 22/45 MK II's, one 4" BBL and one 6 7/8" slab BBL with a 4X simmons scope.

another stinker is my wifes taurus 94 .22 LR, hard to get accurate.

A Norinco SKS that grouped like a shotgun pattern. It had a horrible trigger, and since the safety only blocks the trigger on the SKS, and the sear engagement was such that all you had to do was thump it on the buttstock hard enough and the sear would release the firing pin.

Bryco Jennings 9mm pistol. It FTE on each shot. IT FAILED TO EJECT ON EACH SHOT! It couldn't hold a group to save your life. Magazines, recoil spring housing, ejectors...Everything is built so poorly on these things. :cuss:

When playing COD, I've wanted to throw the game controller at the TV screen. When my phone would randomly crash, I've wanted to throw it into the ground. This gun is the only gun that I've wanted to throw into something and die. (If guns can die, lol )

Stupid thing was nothing but an expensive paper weight.

S&W Sigma 9mm. I actually loved it at first. Accurate, loved the heavy trigger pull, went bang every time I pulled the trigger. Sadly it started going bang without me pulling the trigger had to go after that.

Got one for the crowd.

Glock 17 Glock 22
I mean, I have another Glock 17 and its cool. But I remember these other two, and geeze I just wanted to drop them in my thrower and treat um like pigeons.

Springfield V10.....this was the most unreliable POS I've ever seen and the customer service at Springfield left much to be desired.

Lorcin .380 Saturday Night Special I got back when I was 19. I wanted it for a "throw away gun." I got it by trading a pretty nice single shot 12 gauge for it to a guy at a gun show. The pot-metal slide on it started cracking and eventually the front end of the slide bent up so much that it wouldn't cycle. I tried to JB-weld it back together (lol), but it was a no-go. It ended up being a throw away gun alright... just not in the sense I had in mind! ;)

Man, there are so many idiotic things in that story, it makes me wonder how I lived through those years!

AMT Back up 380. The 3rd round fired the trigger fell off. Sent it back to the factory and it lasted to the 5th round fired before the trigger fell off again. Biggest POS I have ever bought.

The very second I saw the thread title I knew my answer! A Jennings 9 mm! That piece of crap was not capable of making it through a clip without jamming, and the best pistol shooters I know couldn't hit a beer can from 10 feet!!

Wow, Henschman, your Lorcin .380 fired enough times to wear out?
You had better luck than I, the first time I shot mine I was so suspicious of it that after having 4 failures in two magazines that I tried to fire it with the safety on. Successfully.
Immedately cleared it very carefully (hands shaking), took it home, stripped it down into its constituent parts and beat them all into little potmetal lumps with a hammer. Took surprisingly little effort.
