I just placed an order for #5 SS media @ $6/lb + shipping. The gentelman I spoke with said they are changing their policy next month. After the change, their minimum order will be #50. Just thought I'd let you know.

Yep, 50#'s min will make their phones ring a lot less but I bet they know that but you can always start a business (like others have) and offer it for twice the price and only have to repackage.
 
Direct orders will fall off. They probably don't want to spend the time processing them and putting up with the customer service isues.

At least Sinclair International is now carrying the stainless pins and tumblers. Other retail outlets may jump on the bandwagon.
 
I didn't even know such a thing existed. So tell me, how long does that media last?

Stainless pins are used in a wet tumbling process. The pins will last virtually forever. You will probably lose pins faster than you will wear them out.

I would say forever in cleaning brass use. It's a rotary/wet process, some claim good luck in a vibratory but the batches they use would be too small for the extra work. It does get them shiny inside and out.
