Bought a S&W MP-15 lower Thanksgiving Day weekend, and a S&W 5.45x39 upper from CDNN....making a MP-15R to shoot some of that cheap milsurp 7N6 floating around.
Before that, a H&R M12 target rifle from CMP's bolt action blowout sale.
Did buy a Glock 21 45. I have a wonderful Colt Gold Cup from 1972 that is excellent. Love the all steel frames and weight when I shoot. Finally got enough people telling me the Glock will shoot very well and it does. My colt Phython and Gold Cup are the best two followed by the Beretta 92FS and Ruger .357.
Just did the paperwork for a Ruger 22/45. Got the 5.5" bbl with wood grips. I'll be able to pick it up in a week. Gotta love the 7 day wait thing :banghead:
Colt's Government Model. Blued. .45. Was my New Years Day gift to myself. Own 3 1911esque pistols, not a one said Colt on the slide. The Taurus has worked better out o' the box than the EMP or the Loaded Champion. Time and CS will tell. gonna try to feed an empty .45 casing into the Colt. Might could find one around here.
During the last ten days I bought a 1943 IBM manufactured M1 Carbine, a new Springfield Armory M1A, and a new Uberti model 1873 lever action in .44-40 Winchester. Who knows what the next ten days will bring to my gun safe.....
Over Thanks giving I relieved a friend of his Colt series 80 380. Hes trying to get legal in NJ and his wife wants it that way and only that way. I told him they sell between 2 and 700! Paid 200! Its in fine condition and hardly fired. No Box. He has to have a permit to buy Ammo??? Its actually a pistol Ive wanted for 20 years. It had been a debt from his Brother along time ago. He didnt even know what Brand it was!! Just a 380. When I saw that gold horse...You know.
Hit the 'Buy' button on a .22lr Stirling/Armscor M1600 today, bought it since whilst it's in somewhat less than average condition, it's on a 'E' Category register here, so is allowed all the goodies(No mag limit, flash-hiders, etc) that aren't normally allowed...
