"More civilized" is a tricky argument. Once upon a time the 101st airborne had to be deployed to Little Rock to protect black students in a public high school. I wouldn't call that more civilized.

Still, you've got good taste in firearms.

Not really more civilised. Just fewer people living further apart. Add a Marlin .357 mag takedown carbine to that and you have my traveling companions. Sometimes when I head west I change the carbine for a takedown Savage99 for longer range.

Old style doesn't mean out of date.
