Hey folks,
I was talking with a friend last night, and he said the reason he hasn't got more into handguns was the (usually) high price tag on better items. He has a number of fine shotguns and rifles, but when we got into it, I couldn't come up with more than a couple under five hundred dollar pistols that would be versatile guns.
What do y'all think? What do you recommend for a good shooting, potentially carry-able, maybe USPSA pistol under five bills? Let's leave .22 out of this, as "carry-able" means a bit more punch!
(I will say that I told him to buy a Mark III and a few bricks to learn handling and sighting skills, plus they're just fun.)
As always, your input is most appreciated - and Happy New Year!
